It was like the entire movie was just a set up for the sequal, the real story.

I read how it is sort of a prequel to the Alien movies and fans should be able to pick that up.

I had heard that it was, and it was really obvious.
But then at the end they had the "big reveal" like it was supposed to be a surprise.

Not really the biggest fan, but I have seen them. The visual effects made it look interesting. Jim isn't a sci-fi fan, though.
