SHE.. and I am still a temp, just waiting to see if they official decide to hire me in. My "time" at this place will be up at the end of the month otherwise. I am just crossing my fingers that they can afford to keep me around and are willing to. The one chick I was brought in to replace, they thought had cancer, but found out she doesn't. The bonus is that my boss wants to take more time off during the summer and not work as much, which may be great news for me. We're just hoping, since this will be a great place to work at til this thing is born.

Not completely. There are a lot of stories of people who are middle income, who have been successful. It's just more difficult. Recently, they have introduced opportunities where you can buy into a percentage of a horse with other people, which works great if you can't afford it on your own, but want to be more involved.

Guy boss might let you go, because he doesn't want the hassle of a pregnant broad hanging out taking up alot of office space, and eating all the pigs feet. Girl boss might keep you just because she is sympathetic to your situation. so its good you have a girl boss.

It's like the SuperBowl. I make time for it. And there are only a few races out of the year, that I can actually watch. Since NBC and TVG took them from ESPN, I don't get to see a lot of the major races any more, which sucks.

4 hours of horse racing includes 2 minutes of race.

That doesn't always happen anymore. It depends on the injury. The horses are too valuable to put down.

No, I didn't watch much TV this weekend. Was hanging with friends shooting guns, air guns, paintball guns and crossbows and shit and cooking tons of food on the grill while drinking beer and making a bonfire.
We watched the Belmont real quick and watched the Devils beat the Queens. That was all my TV for the last 5 days.

Oh yeah, and if she has to take a bunch of time off within the next year, they might not like that.
