I Had 2 cars stolen in Jersey and they laughed at me when I asked about finger printing it.

I thought you were going to say something about leaving the key in it.

I did... Whoever stole the truck kept the key...

I MB only has one insurance company their policy is every vehicle stolen gets finger printed and has to go through a MPI certified inspection signed off by a technician at a repair facility.

In NJ when your shit gets stolen they just tell you to go buy new shit. There's no warm and fuzzy hand jobs to make you feel better.

Judging by these 2 descriptions, I'd rather live in the middle of no where.

And this is why I love Canada...
I was on the NJ website for unclaimed property and found my name on there a new months ago. I filled out all of the paperwork and sent it in and received nothing. Now when I go back to the site I'm not listed. I think someone stole that shit that I didn't even know was my shit!

I thought I had cash coming my way or someone came across the stripped down frame of the bike I had stolen.
yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of the slave lake wildfire, we went from worrying about my father inlaw's house and possessions, to burying him in mid March. #fuckyoucancer life is short, please don't waste it.

true, and they really only stole a bike from the garage. probably someone walking by that got tired and didn't want to walk anymore.

Another way to look at it, is at least they didn't rob from some poor family that really needed their stuff.
If you're going to steal something, it maybe a rich dead guy is the best place.

But why did the key left in the truck to begin with??

Honestly, it was an accident. I was in a hurry, thought I grabbed them but didn't and it got stolen... Jim has a nasty habit of leaving keys in ignitions.... that key usually stayed in the ignition though because it was our only one
You know they have the ability to make copies of keys now days right? Perhaps this 1920s technology hasn't made it up Canada way yet. Smile
