That sounds stupid.
"lets go outside and toss a frisbee around"
sounds kind of lame too.
i was a little curious why they were doing that, and they said it was cause its easier to say disc than frisbee when youre running around and can barely breathe. Made sense to me

No one ever plans on playing frisbee. You usually come across one laying on the ground and just pick it up and throw it to someone else.
Have you any memory of ever purchasing a frisbee? I don't think anyone does. I think they just wind up in your yard magically.

And yeah, I actually bought the 'discs' for golf.
A set of 3, different weights.
One was a 'driver', some mid range thing and a 'putter'

Just checked out the pro shop. 200 bucks for a steady ed memorial disc set thing. bunch of fucking weirdos.
"It was “Steady” Ed's wishes that once he passed away his ashes be incorporated into discs so that he could fly. “Steady” Ed loved the Disc Golf and Frisbee® community. Ed wished for the community to have his discs and for them to have fun and play with them after he passed on."
