LED I think is just a new type of LCD. It's thinner and contrast ratio is better.
I really have no idea, but I think the big thing with them is that they're thinner.

How many years have they been talking about that thing coming out?
I have a 6" ham on Rye...........oh TV's my bad, my game TV is 48" LCD, The one in the living room is 55", but it is a projection TV that came out right before the LCD's so it is still only like 10" thick at the thickest part.

I don't think it is. And I'm almost positive that the plant to build the batteries isn't even built yet.
But in the GM Tech center they have places where they can build a bunch of test vehicles. I was just shocked that they're finally at the point where they can start road testing. And I was really shocked that it wasn't all camo'd up.
