Actually, I have spent time in Detroit for work, and while almost everything there is a SHITHOLE, Greektown is pretty fun, good food, bars, casino and not dangerous. The area around the stadiums is pretty cool also. Going to a Tigers game and then going to Greektown is a good time. Just don't leave that downtown area.....
Mexcian Town has some awesome food too, not much else though.
Everything else, you have to go to the suburbs for.
Is that place safe? I have accidentally gotten off the highway there and it looked shady.
The one street is pretty good, I've never heard of anything bad happening there. And a lot of people go there.
