Some of my all time favorite players are Yankees, Joe Dimaggio, Mickey Mantle and Don Mattingly are all some of my favorites. For me it IS the fans and the money(which is an argument I just don't have in me right now).

what pisses me off about yankee fans (the ones born in the region) is their arrogance about the team. You just happened to be born in the area of the team, its dumb luck.
