Horse racing has a lot of buildup, yes, but ultimately has the animals lined up in a gate that springs open and sends them around a track at speeds of 47 mph and is done in roughly 2 minutes. Golf has no such adrenaline rush.

I think it's funny that you think one is so obviously boring, and love the other.

I've loved watching horses run ever since I was a kid. It's hard to find it boring.
