Grand Traverse Bay has nothing on the beaches straight off of Lake Michigan. Especially in the Sleeping Bear Dunes are. They are the best, especially Empire and Esch Rd. Nice and sandy with shallow areas that generally are warmer to swim in. And the sand out this way is like sugar, not that coarse shit on the oceans.

I have swam in the beaches near Hart also. Don't get me wrong, they are nice, but I can not compare them to the Caribbean. Sugar, that is a big grain. The beached on the islands have perfect sand.
One of my favorite spots to swim. It's better when the waves are bigger...

Yeah, me too. I was looking at Atlantis for a fall trip. That Cove Covino recommended is the most expensive place to stay on Atlantis, three times what the normal rooms are. Who is a baller on a budget again?

I was too worried in Key West about sharks and jellyfish. Then I accidently swallowed some salt water when I jumped in and it just sucked after that.

Monterrey Bay, CA wasn't fun either. The waves were so strong that we basically stayed on the beach, because we couldn't keep on our feet.

Rip currents are freaky, too. But I have yet to be caught in one.

I wish I was a poor, rich guy too.

They can barely double their Mercedes payments each month.
I got caught in some under tow once, and could barely see the beach before I realized what was going on. That was an exhausting swim back to shore. Guareentee I couldn't do that today.
I also was snorkling, and dove down to grab a starfish, and it was further down than I thought. My head almost exploded, and I barely made it back up for a breath of air. I got the starfish though. Then put it in the trunk of the rental car, and forgot it was there. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Jersey is just dirty. AC is not that bad though, but if you leave the casinos, it sucks ass. The beaches are decent for a day or two stay, but I would not plan a week there.

Confusedad: Im going for a week
