I keep asking myself how long I'll go before I turn the furnace on.
I love sleeping in this cold.

If it wasn't for my wife the furnace wouldn't be on till the house got to about 15 Celcius in the house. I had to turn it on at the beginning of October
I lit my furnace last Thursday when it snowed. I keep it at 65 though.
I've had my wood stove going for about three weeks.

Yep, hard wood.
I've been running my furnace at night for the past couple of weeks.
We used a wood stove when I lived in Colorado. My Dad made me split wood all summer. That part sucked. 3 cords stock piled usually. We burned it all year too, even in the summer. I would always try to pull some tom sawyer trickery with my friends to come over and help. Never worked.

haha
The weird thing is, I don't mind splitting wood now. I don't do it alot, but its not something I dread doing.
