My dad phoned last night and told me his eyes had been bothering him for a while and that he went to the doctors that afternoon, then he proceeded to tell me that he was going for emergency surgery this morning and hopefully he'll be back home this afternoon if all went well. I was up most of the night tossing and turning about it... I'm a such a worry wart.
