If you ever hear a guy complain about flex head ratchets, he probaly sucks at ratcheting.
I think I would fall into the novice user catagory
I used my torque wrench for the first time, since I got it this past weekend

I felt like a dork Sunday when I was changing my spark plugs, and I had to put 2 extensions together to get down to the plugs. I didn't have one long enough. Confusedad:
I did the front brakes on my truck on Sunday. I had to use a port-a-power jack to get the front wheels off. I've had to do this to the rears once too. How often do you guys have trouble getting wheels off?
I just looked to see if I have any 32 mm stuff. No sockets, but I do have a wrench. Not a scratch on it. Never been used. 1 1/4 inch is pretty close to 32mm. I have one of those. It gets used alot, probaly on 32mm fasteners.

that sucks. I'm also considering ordering 3 new socket sets, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2. Just so I can have the ez read ones from craftsman, and almost all of the sockets to fill the trays

its not so much getting the wheels off as it is putting the lug nuts back on

I've never had to do that here. I hear the guys at the north dealers talking about it all the time though. Pretty common for the salt belt.

Loosen the lugnuts a little bit, then drive around in circles. They come off then usually. A little easier than busting out a port a power.
by trays I mean these...

I do. Doesn't seem to help.
My collection of tools is probably pretty small, but it's enough to make me want to keep my car for a long time, just so I have an excuse to use them.
there is something called a dually buddy thats supposed to be great for stuck rims, and hubs. I've never researched further than that though.

if I do, I usually kick the wheel off, or use a sledge on the inside of the tire. With a couple loose lugs in place

I always end up using a 4' pipe over a breaker bar to get the lugs free. If I ever get a flat with that truck, I'll be waiting for a tow.
I have those hansen socket trays. :high5:
