Flirting/Dating in the 21st Century

I like that I have a way to research a potential guy compared to my teen years. I can run his name through OTIS and other Criminal record sites. I can see how he interacts on FB or Myspace with his friends (plus how flirty he might be with other females). Of course this is assuming he is using his real name and all that.... But, back in the day, it was a real crap shoot with a potential guy, so at least now, there's something to go on.

I do notice that people are more quick to text each other right off than wait to talk face to face, which is weird. Especially when they have nothing left to say.

2 things - these are serious and not sarcastic...
1- can you see how much he makes? and does that affect your possbile dating decision??
2 - Would you like a guy to do the same, if he were to date you??

and texting has gone way to far!!! not only has it killed the face to face conversations in relationships.. it has also killed business relationships aswell (no more come in and talk..) its order this would you !

The money thing doesn't matter, especially when common knowledge is that most people (i know) exaggerate that amount. You're looking for a person who isn't a mooch and has some ambition in their life.

I have nothing to hide, and I am more than ok with a guy looking up my stuff. If I am going to dish it out, I gotta be able to take it.

On profiles.. If I see a guy who's friends are pretty much all women and there's a TON of flirting going on, I am going to be pretty quick to assume that he's most likely into shenanigans of some sort or that he's a deviant. It's very different compared to a guy who has a bunch of female friends who leave relatively sincere comments on his page. It's not 100%, but a person's profile can very well reflect some part of their personality.

Women definite LEE expect more these days. There is no doubt about that.

I think they expect the same amount, they just won't settle anymore. Women are more vocal, and if they are not getting what they want they will speak up, and if that doesn't work they are gone.

My buddy's girl broke up w him after 6 years, kicked him out of their appartment and wanted to find bigger and better things in the mist.

He was heartbroken for awhile, but then he started hanging out with the old crew again, going out having fun, kicking it to chicks ect...

His girl sees all the pictures of him out having fun posted on facebook. She calls him up playing the victim, all sad saying it's like he's sticking the knife in and twisting it. She's the one who gave him the boot.

Because of that they're hanging out all the time now. That wouldn't go down 5 years ago. She'd never see those pictures
