But I don't have to do anything special to hook a monitor to it. My brothers laptop doesn't need that either.

I got it working. WHen I plug in the second monitor I have to go to that page Chip was asking if there was a monitor icon on and make it the primary and make sure it is set on 1280x780
I was a Little League superstar, don't hate.
