I don't have a dell.
My laptop is a Gateway.
And I had no clue about this either.

this option is on most laptops.......hence the blue font on the keys.............come on, youre better than this guys!

My laptop has the blue on the keys, for use with the fn key. Non of them have anything to do with another monitor.
But I don't have to do anything special to hook a monitor to it.
My brothers laptop doesn't need that either.

I got it working. WHen I plug in the second monitor I have to go to that page Chip was asking if there was a monitor icon on and make it the primary and make sure it is set on 1280x780
