i'm developing a western blot, basically you run a sample on a gel which is kinda like thick jello, the sample seperates by size, you then transfer that to a piece of paper, from there you can add antibodies to detect specific parts of the sample, then add a glowy reagent and expose it to a piece of film, and you have a permanant image
