I thought the Brady Bunch got that credit
Just because someone can call me Mom now doesn't mean I am gonna be Betty Freakin Cocker and bake any pies.

Apparently it's Mary Kay and Johnny. In 1947
Brady Bunch did it in 69-74
Flinstones 60-66

Friend of mine got married and then divorced a month later. He says it was him who decided but I'm not sure. He was super excited for the wedding, he constantly talked about her including the weekend before they split. He was making dinner plans for all four of us at his place.

WTF?
Did he just try to chalk it up to "Yeah, I changed my mind"?

I get a little anxious about the actual wedding, but not about being married at all.

Yes. It is. One of the reasons we never bothered. Jimbo was talking about it again last night, though.

You don't know why? Maybe he caught her cheating.

The actual wedding is definitely made me more anxious than being married, 7 months in & only difference is a ring on my finger, and the continued stress of finding a new place to live.

Once we find a new place, then new stress starts with costs & family planning.

Just talking about marriage makes me nervous. I'm ok with it until Jim starts talking about it, then I freak out.

I have no idea. He kept telling me "it's a funny story, I'll tell you the next time I see you". He finally told Jim that he woke up one morning freaking out that he's stuck with one woman for the rest of his life and so he left her but he was all excited up to his wedding and the day of it he was all happy. I assume she did something. He will eventually tell me, just need to give him space.
