I worked warranty at a dealership. It's not often they warranty paint issues unless it's poorly done. If they are being nice or you've purchased a car with them before they might.

we warranty stuff like that.

our salesman/manager/service writer orders whatever color touch up paint he needs, then sits on my liitle stool, and paints it, and polishes. He actually does a good job at it. I don't think we warranty anything that needs profesional body shop work. unless it comes off the transport truck damaged.

The dealership might cover the cost of parts and labor if it's not a big deal just to keep the customer happy.
I know Maxim used to ask International if they would cover some of these repairs for them as good gestures.
