That's why, when I buy socks, I get rid of all my old ones and get all new socks, all the same kind.

thats what I do. I don't even let my wife touch my socks, she just jams them into a huge ball in a drawer, and it makes me want to kill her. so to avoid that, I just wash and put away my own socks.

I usually throw them in a laundry basket on the floor of my room and randomly pull out two of them.
