ad: I could have been done and out the door by now if it didn't smell. currently I have removed the negative battery cables, and loosed 4 hose clamps. and dumped bleach everywhere. then tried rear end differential fluid as a cover up smell.

My MIL is a paramedic, my BIL used to work for the funeral home picking up dead bodies. They both have said use Vicks vapor rub. Put it on right under your nose so every time you breath in that's all you'll smell.

They wipe that stuff under their noses first.
Maybe you should do that.
But you probably don't have that nearby, so you might have to improvise.
Try some grease or oil. Just a little bit, right under your nose is all you should need.
