I could give a shit one way or another. The same thing happened in the 70's or 80's when Chrysler was bailed out. Every federal and state vehicle was required to be Chrysler to help sales. It makes sense to me.

I was thinking more along the lines of how CNN and the hundreds of liberal print media state they are fair and unbiased.....but I agree. The Independent Journal actually is really not bad at all compared to most other sites, they swing to both sides.

Independents are where it is at.

All I know is that the demand is high enough that people like Jim are working mostly 7 days to keep up on demand. He didn't even get the 2 week shut down. It's a good thing, rather than him sitting home and collecting unemployment.

I agree with this guy's comment:

Ford Motor CEO Alan Mulally recently stated that the 2008-2009 federal government rescue of General Motors and Chrysler with billions in loans was “the right thing to do” and that he would support it again.
Mulally testified before Senate Banking Committee on Nov. 4, 2008, in support of the rescue for his competitors.
He said that it ultimately helped Ford because a failure by GM and Chrysler would have wiped out the supply network for the auto industry and plunged the nation into a depression.
