It was quite enjoyable except for the finger injury and the dog chasing me... How was yours?

I got chased by a dog this weekend while attempting to go for a run at the lake... I am not pleased about animals chasing me... two weeks ago the crazy prairie chicken and now this!!!!

I took my older niece for a walk on Saturday and we heard a pretty large animal charge into the brush and make a growling type noise. Could have been a black bear, but maybe a large deer. It was kind of freaky to hear. And I guess I am supposed to contact the DNR to report it in case it is a bear.

so this doomsday virus thing. I actually did read about it last week sometime. Then it said 48,000 computers are infected in the USA, and I totally dismissed the entire thing. Thats not many at all.

So why all this "scary" hype? I don't get it.

When we finally get a real doomsday, that word will be so overused by then, that we will all be like "doomsday schmooomsday" then get annihilated by an asteroid.

I had a great time with my family Saturday evening at a BBQ. Then yesterdy I went and shot guns with my DAd, and little brother. My .25 colt auto pistol that I traded for a blackberry. IT was loud, and jammed alot, but still a good gun, especially being 100 years old. Also shot a .22 rifle, and 2 different 9mm pistols. We tried to remotely rig up a old ass 4570 rifle. Shoots .45 calibre rifle rounds, that are huge, we were scared it would blow up, but it misfired, and something was wrong with the firing pin.

I started reading the first Friday, finished the entire second book yesterday and I'm about 1/4 through the 3rd... I'm very pleased with them...

The question is, is Jim equally as pleased?
