I didn't think my name was that difficult, but plenty of people have screwed it up.
Just because someone can call me Mom now doesn't mean I am gonna be Betty Freakin Cocker and bake any pies.

I wouldn't think LeNeve would be hard to pronounce, but I'm always amazed by some people. Mostly salesmen. They will add letters that aren't even there.
Greg Behrent does a great comedy bit about his last name. Dead on. I totally relate. I can't even spell his name right. I will dismiss someone as illiterate if they totally butcher my last name. If you can sound a word out you can get pretty close, so when I get a Lebean, or Lenervo dropped on me, I'm done. If I'm unsure on pronouncing someones last name, I ask them. I don't know how JDubb's last name is pronounced properly. I also like unique last names. Usually I like the people with them too.

Chris Haley, do you need insurance?

Is the article talking first names or last names?
I agree on hard to pronounce, or weird first names. Or normal first names spelled wrong. Stupid parents naming kids weird shit.

My last name is one syllable and the name of a damn bird. People misspell it and mispronounce it all of the time. It's not a difficult name at all.
