I have the snap on holiday gift guide right here. soft handle 1/4 drive 1.95. soft handle 3/8 80.95
Didn't realize they would be that close in price.

soft handles. you can't feel what the ratchet is doing. seems weird probaly, but true. I can feel a regular ratchet about to break loose, and anticipate that. No smashing my hand, or breaking other part. Also they are slick mofos when they get oil on them. You can't just wipe them off to clean them like a regular ratchet either. You have to get soap and scrub them clean, and thats gay.
If I see a full time mechanic using soft handle ratchets, I know he sucks at his job.
I have no problem with weekend hobby guys using them.

huh. I like buying things that I only will use at work. Seems odd when you really think about it. or getting tools for gifts. Thats really nice, I love it.
Do people in other proffessions like getting things that they can use to do work?
Does a county road worker love going down the shovel isle at home depot? Does he get hard hats and gloves for christmas?

So there are only 6 people in my entire building today.
I've had a great productive week but I'm basically out of shit to do. Nothing worse that sitting idle. Well yes there is. Sitting idle and not getting paid for it.

Nobody would get me anything to use at work. I'll get stuff for my office but considering my job is 95% mental, there isn't much people can give me.

Do you give your sister in law that works at mcdonalds some nice anti slip shoes?
I think they would rather have something not related to working.

So am I weird for liking things that I exclusively use at work?

i think it would depend upon what your job is. If i used tools for my job that would be awesome, or if i was a professional racer and people got me bike parts.
I'm a juggernaut of awesomeness
