That was a good video...it's cool how that guy lost a ton of weight and actually got with some girl. I work out and am in pretty good shape; I don't think I have a problem there. The problem comes with being shy, being too nice, having no social life/skills, working weird hours, and not going out.

What kind of interests did this girl have? Did you guys start talking religion and politics or something?? Other than that what could be such a big deal

This could have been one of the problems. She asked me a lot of questions...more than I asked her; it was probably the exact opposite of how it's "supposed" to go. I am bad with the whole "getting to know someone" part. They ask questions, I answer them. There were no hot button issues discussed. It boggled my mind too, bro...I felt the conversation went pretty well, but for whatever reason she thought about it and disqualified me. Maybe she thought I live too far away and that someone would have to move for it to work...maybe she thought I was too nice/not enough of a "challenge"...I really don't want to try to figure it out because it's pointless.

You don't need to be doing much talking during a first date anyway. LISTEN to what the chick is saying and comment on that.

Once again, probably one of my faults. She was the one asking questions...after I answered she would give her side, but it wasn't me doing the asking for the most part. A lot of times when I'm with my close friends I'm really, really quiet (if you can believe that). I want to make sure when I'm on a date that I don't sit there like an antisocial bum...so I probably talk too damn much and don't leave any mystery to what I'm all about. That probably turns the girl off.
