Say you spent a really long time in college and have a very large bill because of this. You LOVE what you do, but jobs are scarce and the pay isnt great. This is an inside job from 8-5. You also have the option to do something you enjoy, pays really well, its more of an outside job, hours would be more noon to 8/9ish, job is very secure. Benefits between the two are very similar.

Curious which route you would take

At the end of the day what matters the most is that you enjoy wat you do.
Is it just more money now or more money in the long run as well?

here are the 2 options. I currently work at a hospital as a research scientist, these jobs are typically grant funded, so pay is limited. I have a great education that is of graduate level. However my funding didnt come through and am forced to find another position, this could be a reoccurring theme over the course of a lifetime. You all know most of this

the second job is at fedex, driving a truck. not entirely an outside job, but parts of it would be. Which I have done for the last 5 years both FT and PT. This you didnt know.
