I have convertx to dvd, imgburn, and adobe acrobat 8 professional, I use utorrent, and use WinRAR instead of winzip. I only use itunes to sync my iphone and ipod touch, usually use winamp to play music, or vlc media player. So I guess i am ahead of the game!

This is really useful. I'm gonna have to try the alternative for Adobe Reader, that program is a beast. Open source definitely seems to be the way to go, especially for an OS.
