My theory is that it grabbed to the one of the towels when I had them hanging to dry up at the cabin and then wound up riding home with me.  It's weird that I didn't throw those into the wash until last night and I had gotten home on Monday.  Unless the little guy was buried and could climb out of the pile.. or was dead already.
