The questionable avatars, and posts, don't really affect me at my job, but I can see them being a huge problem for alot of people. I was recently offered the job of service manager, which would have me in the front, with customers, and the computer right there for the world to see.

I'm not taking this position, but if I did, I would definetly have to shut the avatars, and signatures off. People are crazy conservative, bible thumpers around here. Hell the nearest porn shop and or strip club is a 4 hour drive.

I'm a mechanic, so if I'm not working I'm not getting paid. If its slow, which is this time of year, they cant tell me I can't. It doesn't take away from my work.

I'm thinking that this really isn't a big deal and people just need to keep it classy like Ron Burgundy and not use avatars of chicks getting fucked over a desk. I don't think anyone needs to risk losing their job over an online forum.
