Really??? The Romans were pretty bad ass.

Bullets, armor, artillery, helicopters, mortars all travel way further than the range on anything the Romans had. Not to mention how devastating hand grenades, land mines, claymores and anti personnel mines would be.

The Romans would be lucky to ever get within range of the Marines to even use their cavalry and hand combat weapons. Especially on the fields of battle the Romans were used to, flat, open ground, plains and small hills.
