So I guess the general manager here, kept getting stuck trying to come rescue me, so he called me back, and said forget about it, just stay home. sweet right? no, not sweet.

I figured since I had all my work gear on, I should at least go try to dig out my mountaineer. My scoop shovel is under 4 foot tall drifts of snow, somewhere along the edge of the north side of my house. That was fun to find, took about an 30 minutes.

I cleared the sidewalk from my front porch to the road, and as I was leaning on the shovel, trying not to pass out, I wondered if this might be the day I die from shoveling snow. I decided to soldier on anyway. Awhile later, I decided I had removed enough snow for a 4x4 SUV to get out, I was right. My ford escort on the other hand, looks like it's going to be buried for awhile.

I went 4 wheeling all around town, ramping piles of snow, doing donuts. rally racing against fake opponents. knocking down peoples shoveled piles of snow, all kinds of fun shit. I even went to help my friend pull his f250 out of a snow drift. If you are in a situation in the future, and someone wants to pull an f250 out of a snow bank with a mountaineer, it won't work. FYI.

and that was my adult style snow day.
