Nashville has to keep him for at least one year.
Which includes this years signing bonus, this years salary, and next years signing bonus, that adds up to $27 million.
How willing are they to pay that much in less then a year?
Kind of blatant how they're getting around the potential "salary roll back" in the new CBA.
He gets $14 million the first few years, $13 million of it is the bonus that won't be effected by the roll back.
