I'm more concerned this time than I was last. Jim gets sick and I'm stuck working triple duty to pay the bills. In 2009, all j had to worry about was food, mortgage, hydro and our phones.
How long does it usually bother him for?
Your kids haven't developed that, have they?
It depends. It usually bothers him all the time. It just getting worse, he bleeds a lot, he's body will start attacking itself. Depending on how much blood he loses he may need a blood transfusion. Eventually he will get dehydrated to the point he will need to be in the hospital for a few days.
Jims dad has Crohn's. Jim has ulcerative colitis. Jims dad was in his 40's when he was diagnosed, Jim was 23-24 when he was diagnosed. His brother doesn't have it. The kids right now are fine. I can only hope they don't get it.
