My wife is familiar with Apple (she has an ipod touch) so for simplicity sake, I think she should get an iphone.

honestly if she really wants one now I would get her a 3gs. The only huge upgrade that I cannot do by jailbraking is the camera. That is a huge difference in quality

well, as far as a phone goes, that would be the part of the iphone that she would use the least lol, but since she carries her ipod and a cell phone, it would just be easier for her to have both in one unit. she probably wouldn't even realize what she's missing out on with a 3gs over the 4

Although I have never owned a blackberry,my dad has a bold or a curve,which I used quite a bit.I would never trade my iphone for it.
