I still need to get the bottom and side boxes, but first thing is to get organizers.
I found these, look pretty sweet.

why not buy the foam pads that you put under sleeping bags. I do. its a lot cheaper

LeNeve Wrote:I like those foam fitt deals. I would need a way bigger box though. You lose alot of space using those things. I would still like to have all my shit super organized like that.
they are totally customizable. tell them what you got and they make the cutouts for you. I'm guessing it does take a while to do that since they need every tool. I think I'm going to order 2 of the wrench ones, the screwdriver one, and the pliers one.

found this for socket organization, not sure yet if I want to go with this, or take the time to have them make me a foam one.

these organizers suck. the little tabs for the sockets break very easily. I've been down that road
Here's the foam

did you cut that to fit? That is way cheaper. What did you do to keep your sockets organized? I hate the rails. what do you think about the magnetic pads i posted in one of the links. these... http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/p..._200358432

the rails are where its at. theres no substitute for complete customization at the cheapest price possible. and the rails last forever
LeNeve Wrote:It's kind of nice here this morning. 65 degrees, and it's been sprinkling a little bit each night for the last week. Which made my lawn grow fast. So that sucks. This will be the second time mowing this summer now. We have gotten more rain this month than the entire year. 1.5 inches for the month of July, 2.5 inches this year.

For two weeks it was unbelievably hot here, it didn't take long for all the grass to die. The only place in our yard that the grass isn't dead is our patch of freshly grown grass which we were watering.

for the sockets it should be fine. I'm not a big fan of anything plastic.

plus they are probably 3 times the price of the snapon metal rails and clips.

Matco makes a decent twist rails set out of plastic, but again, I'm not a supporter of plastic.
This is what I have.
It can be a tough to open sometimes, but it holds everything.
