The NBA's is just as long, maybe a week longer.
My bosses used to have a set of 4 Tiger season tickets, if they couldn't use them, they'd give them to me.
I drive home right by the park, so, even if I couldn't go, I'd tell them I could.
I'd take them, park for free at a casino, and sell them for $10 or $15 each and go home.
That happened once a week.

The NBA does that stupid shit where teams could be playing 2nd round games while the 1st round is still going on. That makes for some retardedly long breaks later in the playoffs.

Hockey seems longer because I don't like hockey. I'll watch basketball occasionally. Both are ridiculously long.

I have been to a bunch of Tiger games when I was up there for work, I like that stadium a lot. They are my third favorite team. I have gone to weeknight games against the Yankees and got an aisle seat 20 rows back on the third base line for like $20 many times.
I like to walk around some to though and grab some BBQ in that outfiield place.

For that price, you can get them 5 rows behind the dugout for day games.
That place in the outfield seems to change every year. It might be a Labatt Blue bar now. It spent some time as a Skyline Chili for a while I think.
