wow, 6 horses have died at the Calgary Stampede this year, all unrelated and none due to human error but still. that's quite a bit.

A bunch of my friends went to see Iron Maiden Wed night.
Detroit gets all the big concerts, just because it's alway been a huge draw for concerts. The only bad thing is, that they know we'll go to the concerts what ever day they are. So they put them during the week here, and on the weekend where they need that to be the extra incentive to go. And now the only people who put concerts on the weekend are people who are from the area for some reason.
