Yeah, what is a public health nurse?

They come and inspect every house in Canada with a newborn?

If they did that in the US there would be a shitload of babies being taken away from people.

A public health nurse does the small jobs that would take up a doctors time. The one in town administers all the children's booster shots, comes to every house after a newborn to check on living standards & condition. She'll weigh the baby & measure it. Teens can go there for advice or help. They are actually quite useful & yes... IT'S FREE!
