I rode my motorcycle around the track. you could absolutly bury the needle in the straights, as fast as that bike could go. cornering speeds were probably 100-130. I cant tell you exactly cause I had my spedo covered up, but i was running 3rd gear at 12-14K rpms in most of the corners

That sounds like a blast. Why the tape over the lights? Why was your speedo covered?

agreed 5 :high5:
that looks like fun. Is that track marbles on the front tire, or is it that scuffed?
its worn rubber from getting on the brakes hard. Thats how the tires should look like. I do have marbles on the inside of the rims

you have to tape the light to cover up the light, no headlights no break lights, you dont want to see those on a track. Also if you crash you dont want that shattered stuff on the track. I covered my spedo cause you dont want to know how fast your going and freak yourself out. Its more of a distraction, so I covered it

So there was more than one rider on the track at a time?

52 mile round trip for me.

I put in about 44 miles round trip. But I also had to drive to Howell (about an hour one way this morning to get him to work, also).
Just because someone can call me Mom now doesn't mean I am gonna be Betty Freakin Cocker and bake any pies.

yeah there was probably 25 guys on the track at one time, but since the track is 4 miles long they spread everyone out. Groups of 10 at a time out of the pits, with such a big track there was never an issue of running into other groups

TSS Taylor just tweeted a link to be an extra for Transformers 3 in the Chicago area. That'd be pretty cool
