As for Covino's theory, I have one brother who is one year older than me so I'm the youngest of only 2. I think this theory all depends on how many siblings there are in the family and how close they are in age.

Neither of those guys made it because, at that level, if you're going to want to win, you have to actually play defence. Boyle made it over those 2 because he actually can play D and is good with the puck.
