thats 143 for the rest of us non-canadians

Oh yeah, I was in a friends LS, and did about that too.
I forgot about that, but I was just thinking of what I actually drove.
I think it would have gone faster but I didn't realize how fast I was going, but when I looked I immediately got out of the throttle. I didn't want to lose my licence

We got up to that speed in a hurry too.
And we could have kept going too, but we weren't really out in the middle of no where. The freeway was pretty busy.

Same here... Otherwise, I would be hitting higher speeds.

The fastest I drove was 120mph in my old 94 Sunbird 3.1 5spd with more peddle left. It was basically a Z24 with Pontiac badges. I was racing a coworker on the way home from work out on the interstate and he had a Dodge Avenger with a DOHC V6. He was ahead of me but I kept right up on him.

My fastest ride was 140mph in a hopped up 93 Eagle Talon with AWD that my one buddy had. And that was with four of us piled in the car. If it wasn't for the stop sign commin up, he could have pegged it at 150 on the speedo.

I got my Neon up to 100 one night coming home from afternoon shift. I had to go down a giant hill, but it got there!

About 120 was the fastest I've been. I was young, and in NJ you have the "End Speed Limit" signs. I missed that section in the rules where it said it was at 55 mph lol.

The most horsepower I've been in was 1100 RWHP. It was a drift car. Lexus SC 300 with a retooled Tundra engine in it, with a custom turbo, and another hundred or so improvements (approximately 170k in aftermarket improvements). I was in it around the first corner, and got them to stop the car and jumped out. Refused to ever get in it again lol.

That is pretty fast for a bike, I think.

When I lived in ski country, during the summer, you could still load your mountain bike on a few select ski lifts and take a trip to the top, then ride down. I got going pretty god damn fast a few times. No clue on the actual speed. When you got to a certain speed though, brakes were not really an option. You hit the brakes and it would send you into an uncontrollable crash. You sometimes had to just kind of lay it down and use your body and bike to slow down. I wore pads and a helmet, and I would always burn up my jeans and get grass rash. I would never go that fast on the rocky shit.
