I make the exception during the winter too. There's no way in hell I'm trying to light charcoal in the snow.

Damn right!!! I might end up getting a gas grill once I build my deck, but there will still be a charcoal there also. I am getting a charcoal smoker this week at Home Depot.

I don't think shit tastes nearly as good on gas. It's blander on gas.

Charcoal is awesome, but a pain in the ass. I have a nice propane grill. Can you use those wood chips in a propane grill to get more flavor?

more bland is to bland, I needed to spice things up with blander. It's actually a word, look it up.

I think I do also come to think of it. I think I need a tall standing one though, then I can put most of the shit in there and my portable one will still be good. Those tall ones are fucking expensive though.

I BBQed last night and it was delicious, I have a pretty shitty propane grill. I will upgrade someday, I have a natural gas hookup on my deck that just wants to be used.

I don't see the hardship and inconvenience with charcoal. You pile it up, throw on some lighter fluid, come back in 15 minutes, throw some more fluid on it, light it, come back in 15 minutes and cook much higher quality food than you would EVER get on a gas grill.

When I build me deck, I am going to have both a gas and charcoal grill built right into it side by side. You can pump out more product with gas for bigger parties but I will never abandon charcoal, it's too tasty.
