Joe In PA Wrote:Your mortgage is less than 400 a month???

It was right at 400. It is now close to 600 for some reason.

Double corner lot. 2 bedroom house, with a one bedroom rental on the other side of the property. The rent paid used to pay for the whole mortgage, plus all the utilities. Then they moved out and left it useless.

I hired a contractor that fixed it, and it looked okay, but It fell apart within a week. Total loss of alot of cash. I can't find this asshole for anything. Now I don't even trust anyone to do it.

I work ~ 30 miles away from my house In Rhode Island everything is reasonable. I would love to own an SUV or Pickup but even a 30 mile drive would kill me in gas each year. I own an Echo and a Camry.

I feel inferior but I have money in my pocket.

We pay $565 every two weeks but that is by choice, our house will be paid off in less than ten years. Before we changed it in Feb we were paying $600 a month.

I drive 26 miles to work. My daily driver is an Elantra. I couldn't afford to drive my pickup everyday.

I drive a company van to and from work so I got two older cars that don't get driven much during the week. My drive is about 15mi from my house to the shop.

Yeah, it's amazing when I look at cost of living for differemt areas. My yearly salary in Chicago, probally would not get me a car to live in.

My work is 1.3 miles from me. It is the furthest place I drive in this small town. Wait, the golf course is 2.3 miles from me.

Straight North, it is 30 miles to the next town.
South, 30 miles to the next town.
West, 20 miles to the next town.
East 60 miles to the next town.

These towns all have lesss than 10,000 people.

You can't get a rent around here for under $800 an that's for a shitty appartment in a shitty area. If you want something decent it's more like $1200. There's houses for rent in the paper for $2400/mo here
