I finished and efiled my taxes last night, got a cool 10k refund coming back in 10 days. :happy: :happy:
I was a Little League superstar, don't hate.

We did ours this weekend too...at least we don't owe this year....but we only get back $1,600.00....but hey, the last 2 years we had to pay and that totally SUCKS!!! so we're happy!!!!!!!

I use the standard mileage conversion instead of gas, car and repairs. It ALWAYS works out better.

Lodging I get reimbursed for, so no.

I use the fed rate for overnight per diem depending on the city I am in, easier and better than using actual cost of meals.

The milage rate and fed per diem are 85% of my itemized stuff. Also my wife is in school, we always add charitable contributions, any time i buy and electronic it is a work expense also and my entire cell phone and internet bill is an expense. I spend over $3300 a year on cell phone an mifi.

Once we have a kid, even more will be coming off.

I got a lot less this year back than I normally do... I may just to find me a better write-off... like a kid... :j/k: But seriously, I should be allowed to claim my dog as a kid. Big Grin

Jesus, $10,000 refund? Good for you man but good lord...I was lucky to ever get $1000 back. I'm not getting anything this year. The New Castle city taxes are ridiculously high, so everything I got in federal I have to give to the city. Confusedad:
