They put a splint on her and gave her pain meds. She was able to sleep last night. I wanted to sleep, but the stress of it all caught up with me. I watched her fall and that look on her face of sheer pain freaked me out.

That's the worst but I remain surprisingly calm in those types of situations even though I am panicking on the inside.

I'm still amazed how well I held up the entire time. Jim was a huge wreck and completely useless to me the whole day. I should've left him home.

I would have, the drive to the children's hospital is 45 mins and since its non emergent it would have been like a 4 hour wait. No one can stand bitching for that long.

I was sure she sprained it, so we originally went to an Urgent Care place. But the x-ray showed otherwise, so we had to head on out to the hospital... located in the worst part of Flint... to get her taken care of. Nothing like getting out of the car and almost tripping over a woman strung out on something.
