Friday 03/06/15: TV Dinner Day

My new employee baked me homemade red velvet cupcakes with chocolate icing and homemade whipped cream topping.

So last night I went to the grocery store in this sweet Malibu rental car to get a few things.
Coming out I pushed the button on the trunk to open it. (there is no button on the fab, apparently)
I pushed it a couple times and it didn't open, so I figured it was broke or the button was frozen.
It stayed closed all night in my garage, the whole 35 mile drive to work, and all morning.
It was closed an hour and a half ago when I got back from lunch.
But it just opened about 20 minutes ago.
I guess it was frozen shut, and finally thawed out.

My neon does that sometimes. I'll be driving down the road and it will just pop open.

A friend from gymnastics and middle school attended Arnold's in Columbus last night. This was her second year at the event.
Last year when she was about to go on someone told her Arnold Schwarzenegger was sitting front row (he was) and totally psyched her out. She was hoping for a better finish this year but her height class was crazy huge - 40 girls.

That's a heck of a delay. I can't think of a time I have ever had a trunk froze like that.
