I made it half way to work, when my boss called to say the office was flooded.
And I've never seen so many cars on the side of the road.
Cars that tried to make it through water and stalled out. By this morning, most of that water had gone down, but the cars were still there.

Yeah, this is the the interchange I use every day going to work.
And it rained just as much by my house.

5 1/2" of rain is ridiculous. It rained here, but no where near that. One of our clients called to make some changes and told me that he had to work from home because the roads he takes are all closed.


I left work early for a doctors appointment, and if I didn't, I probably would have had a 2 or 3 hour drive home.
If I would have been able to make it home.

I just watched this video.
This guy was able to get out and stand on top of his car until someone threw him a rope.
This one reminded me of South Park, when they broke the beaver damn and flooded that town.
