this will never happen. I'll go out, measure some stuff, then go to get tools, and spend 2 days organizing tools, and getting my work area ready, then be burned out by the whole experience. give up, go inside, then watch a bunch of homos catching crabs in Alaska, or whatever other show happens to be repeating all day during the weekends.

random thought I had the other day. Someone needs to look into owning a pallet company. They sell them for 6-7 per pallet. Shit I think on our dock we have 50 of them unused just going to scrap (thats just this week). Cheap semi + trailer, then try to find a wood chipper to shred the unusable ones, and sell the mix to landscape people.

There is actually a bigger market than that for pallets. I was reading about how hipsters and modernizers are using them to make hardwood floors, walling and furniture. I bet you could get $10 to $20 each for a good one and $5 to $10 for a shitty one.

the original plan i had for my pallets, I was going to build little bird houses, and things like that out of them. then after the first bird house, it got gay. so now I break pieces off, and burn them in my fire pit.

Those Chep pallets probably wouldn't recycle into furniture well, but you get $$ back for those when you return them. Some of the pallets I've seen have been pine, but most of them are a nice heavy wood that is definitely useable in other aspects. The beat up ones that are rotting/falling apart are only good as firewood.
