Tuesday April 1, 2014....I'm pregnant
#16
So I get this letter in the mail last night. 85th birthday party for my grand mother, in the middle of nowhere on a race weekend. Seriously. Drive time would be close to 14 hours one way, I could fly close then still drive 4 hours. This is gonna cost a fortune no matter what, plus missing out on a race weekend. Not sure I'll be making it to this one

When my step Grandpa turned 80 they had a big party for the whole immediate family. Grandma and Grandpa paid for everyone to get to Wichita, and paid for the hotel for the weekend, and all the dinners.

that had to be alot.

me the step grandkid, I get 100 dollars every christmas from them. my kids get 20 each. I bet the real grandkids get more than I do.

they have alot of oil wells.

So, i was reading about the series finale of how I met your mother.

I wasn't a viewer of the show, but it sounds like everyone was pissed about the ending. After reading about what the episode was about, it sounded like the plot to the movie "definately, maybe"

maybe I'm wrong, but I'm glad I didn't watch that show

On Jim's grandpa's 80th birthday he paid for dinner for all his friends and family. Most of them lived in Brandon so it wasn't a big deal. Jim's grandpa sends as much money as old as you are for birthdays. Jim got a $30 dollar gift card and a loonie.

I was thinking of telling Jim that I got busted for going 20 over again and I need him to pay the ticket for me.
Just because someone can call me Mom now doesn't mean I am gonna be Betty Freakin Cocker and bake any pies.

I've watched it a handful of times, because the chicks are hot. but I can't watch a full episode without getting annoyed by the dude characters.

I don't know what da fuq "definately maybe' is.

I hate dressing up, the fact that people buy candy which is WAY overpriced to hand out to children which half the time the child is well on its way to obesity or the kids are older than 13 and not even dressed up, begging for candy and the ones under the age of 2 and the parents are eating the candy for themselves.
For Halloween my kids go to our friends and families homes. They get a small amount of candy and that's good enough.

To make my hatred of Halloween even more fun my brother in law and his girlfriend decided to have a Halloween wedding social. So now I have to go to large drunk fest party on October 29th dressed up.

My cousin and bud's Halloween wedding reception has been one of the most epic parties ever. Everyone dressed up and went all out. It was fantastic and so much fun!
