we are looking for a smaller house

I like the size of our house. It's 980 with the attached garage. The silver fox builds houses all the time and he said a family of four doesn't need anything more than 1200 sq ft. The people who have 3200sq ft with two people in them are retarded

Our current house is just over 2000 sq ft. Its too much for me, and of course this doesn't include the basement.

Plus I want a bigger yard

Damn, that is a lot of house, especially not including the basement. I think mine is 1500 not including the basement.

My yard sucks. We really have no back yard and the front yard is slanted in most places and not flat is most others. And it has too many holes and ruts in it, which I have no idea why they are there even. You could seriously twist an ankle just walking through the front yard, but you can not see it b/c of the grass. I might pay someone to come in and flatten and reseed it next summer.
